The eighth ALLU AUCTION hosted a record 149 lots. Collectors from around the world attended the event, with both attendance and total sales reaching record highs. Total sales, including buyer’s premium, reached approximately JPY680 million.<\/p>\n
ALLU AUCTION is one of the few recurring luxury timepiece auctions in Japan, built on the Valuence Group’s extensive expertise in auction management. The eighth auction, held for premium customers on July 26, 2026 at the VALON BY VALUENCE art lounge, achieved a sell-through rate of 86.6%. While ALLU AUCTION events had been held twice yearly, the company reduced the frequency to once a year to focus on sourcing even rarer and more exceptional timepieces. After spending nearly a year carefully selecting rare timepieces from around the world, ALLU AUCTION offered a record 149 lots.<\/p>\n
Awareness of ALLU AUCTION through its official social media channels continues to grow with each successive event, attracting participants from around the world\u2014primarily from Asia, including Hong Kong and China. Once again, the event attracted a large number of participants in Japan and from abroad, setting a new record for attendance. Total sales also reached a record high, totaling approximately JPY680 million, including buyer’s premium. Active bidding began from the very start of the auction, both at the venue and online. Many lots sold well above their pre-auction estimates, creating an atmosphere of excitement throughout the event.<\/p>\n
One of the stars of the event was a Cartier Crash MM, which graced the cover of the auction catalog. The timepiece is part of the Crash collection, one of Cartier\u2019s most iconic watch lines. In addition to a one-of-a-kind design reflecting the avant-garde spirit of the 1960s, the watch has been highly praised for the elegant presence created by an 18-carat rose gold case and silver dial. This particular piece sold for JPY64.4 million (including buyer’s premium), far exceeding its pre-auction estimate, making it the top lot of the sale.<\/p>\n
