<\/p>\nValuence Holdings Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Shinsuke Sakimoto, representative director and president) has announced that its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been recognized as meeting the criteria established by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)*1 and have received Science Based Targets (SBT)*2 validation.<\/p>\n
The Valuence Group regards addressing climate change as a key management priority and has pursued initiatives to calculate, disclose, and reduce GHG emissions associated with the group’s business activities. In September 2022, Valuence submitted a letter of commitment to the SBTi, working toward establishing science-based GHG emission reduction targets.<\/p>\n
As part of this SBT validation, the company established near- and long-term reduction targets based on the fiscal year ended August 2024. The ultimate target of the company is to achieve net-zero GHG emissions*3 across the entire value chain by 2050. Valuence has disclosed specific targets as follows.<\/p>\n

Going forward, Valuence will continue to pursue initiatives aimed at monitoring, reducing, and properly disclosing progress related to GHG emissions, contributing to the creation of a decarbonized society.<\/p>\n
