Valuence Japan Launches Reuse Service in Collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club, Operator of Diners Club!
The Valuence Group offers life-changing value tailored to all our stakeholders, encouraging every person in the world to live true to yourself. Valuence Group company Valuence Japan, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Susumu Muguruma) has announced that it will launch a new reuse service as of April 15, 2021. This service will be jointly operated with partnership from Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Koji Igarashi), operator of Diners Club in Japan.

Linking the Value of Goods and Creating Sustainable Lifestyles

Diners Club has been a pioneer in new services, both for Japan and the rest of the world, helping customers enjoy an era of 100-year life expectancies. In December 2020, Diners Club celebrated the 60th anniversary of issuing Japan’s first credit card, revamping the card with new functionality suitable for today’s new normal era.
As for Valuence Japan, it conducts purchase of luxury brand goods with a main target of customers in their 40s and above. It too is working to build services usable from home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, like in-home purchasing and by-mail purchasing.

In the belief that these services have a high affinity with Diners Club, the two companies have partnered to launch a reuse service for Diners Club members. The two parties will use this service to offer sustainable lifestyles connecting members to the next person needing their items, rather than being thrown away.

Free Reward Points Based on Purchase Price

This new reuse service exclusive to Diners Club members offers two new services – in-home purchasing and by-mail purchasing – usable with peace of mind and no hassle. Members may choose which they prefer at their convenience. Plus, they will receive 1,000 Diners Club Reward Points if completing purchases of ¥50,000 or more during the eligibility period. All Diners Club members are invited to take advantage of this special, eco-friendly reuse service opportunity.
