Yone Motors to Customize and Resell the Defender*1in Japan Launch of TWISTED JAPAN

Exhibition and Test-Drive Event at Daikanyama T-SITE, Tokyo, March 16 to March 19

Valuence Holdings Inc. (Tokyo; Shinsuke Sakimoto, representative director and president) group company Yone Motors (Tokyo; Takeshi Yone, president) announced the launch of TWISTED JAPAN, a company that will customize and resell the Defender*1 in Japan. In conjunction with the launch, the company announced an exhibition and test-drive event to be held at Daikanyama T-SITE in Tokyo from March 16 to March 19, 2024.

First Entry Into the Japanese Market in Partnership With Twisted Group Limited

Since its establishment in 2011, the Valuence Group has focused on creating circular economies around the reuse business in Japan and overseas by encouraging the reuse of luxury brand goods, antiques, and art objects. In February 2023, Yone Motors became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Valuence Group. Yone Motors deals in new and used cars in Japan and overseas, and also performs maintenance services that include vehicle inspections and checkups at its own shops. In August 2023, Yone Motors signed an exclusive domestic distributorship agreement with Twisted Group Limited (North Yorkshire, England; Charles Fawcett, founder).

Launch of TWISTED JAPAN to Begin With an Exhibition and Test-Drive Event on March 16

TWISTED JAPAN will customize the Defender*1, emphasizing comfort, functionality, and driveability, upgrading the famous car for resale in peak shape and performance under the Twisted brand name. The company will also accept fully customized orders and provide special value tailored to customer needs. Customers will be able to make appointments for test drives, as well as consult regarding post-purchase vehicle inspections, repairs, and re-customization.

TWISTED JAPAN brand vehicles will be unveiled for the first time at the four-day event beginning March 16 at Daikanyama T-SITE in Tokyo. Customized Defenders will be on display, and visitors can enjoy test drives, discuss purchases, and inquire about trade-ins with TWISTED JAPAN representatives. After the event, TWISTED JAPAN’s Tokyo Azabu showroom and website will be available to make appoints for test drives, consultations, and sales of TWISTED JAPAN vehicles.

The Valuence Group will continue to accelerate businesses across a variety of genres and fields, aiming to create circular economies in Japan and overseas through reuse.
