(Tokyo; Susumu Muguruma, representative director and president) has announced the results of a survey on the purchase volume of brand goods conducted by ESP Research Institute, Inc. According to the survey, the company’s Nanboya and BRAND CONCIER brands placed in the top position in Japan in terms of overall annual purchase volume of luxury brand goods. Valuence Japan was also ranked No.1 in Japan for Rolex and other watches, jewelry, apparel and accessories, winning five awards including the overall title.
Nanboya, which opened its first buying office in Osaka in 2007, operates 119 buying offices in Japan (including sister brand BRAND CONCIER)*1 specializing in the purchase of watches, bags, jewelry, precious metals, antiques, and art objects. Nanboya is also expanding actively overseas, operating 23 locations in 16 countries*1. Nanboya and BRAND CONCIER recently contracted with ESP Research to conduct a survey on purchase volume for luxury brand goods. The results of the survey showed that the brands were ranked a combined No.1 in highest annual total purchase volume in Japan*2. Nanboya and BRAND CONCIER were also ranked No.1 in annual purchase volume for Rolex and other watches, jewelry, apparel and accessories*3.

In this way, even first-time customers can use the service with confidence.

A convenient purchase method that allows customers to move through the process from appraisal to purchase completion from the comfort of their own home. Packing materials are delivered free of charge, offering an easy process for those without their own cardboard or other packaging. After receiving the merchandise, Nanboya informs the customer of the appraisal results as early as the next day; if the customer agrees, then the purchase is complete. And, of course, no fees are charged for appraisals, purchases, or cancellations.
Nanboya offers concierge services even for those who might not be able to bring their merchandise to a Nanboya office, for example, when selling a large volume of clothes or bags. Valuence Japan concierges visit the customer at their home or office to conduct an appraisal and purchase. If the customer agrees to the appraisal price, Nanboya will process transfer to the customer’s designated bank account as early as the next business day.
A method that combines the peace of mind of in-office purchases and talking face-to-face with a concierge with the convenience of by-mail and in-home purchases that offer the convenience of staying home. After making an appointment via computer or smartphone, customers access a URL received via text or email to begin the online appraisal process. When the customer is satisfied with the appraisal price, all they need do is wait for pickup to complete the appraisal and purchase process. This service is recommended for customers who do not have a buying office nearby.
